  1. Now now, lets not get cocky. Although I do admit that this is pretty much the only site that actually updates regular with articles unlike some other sites that have a superficial layout.
  2. So name all the cities or locations you want to ask about and I'll ask my teacher what he knows about it. For example, Pompeii is supposed from the Greek word penta(for five) to mean that may be five tribes or five social classes. So he knows things.
  3. I'm not particularly good at this, but I can ask my Latin teacher for you(He happens to have a Ph.D. and another I know too has a Ph.D. too.) So he's very qualified to answer your questions.
  4. Do you mean as in the origin of the name, where it got it from? or declining it or the Locative case?
  5. Hamas may be big, but that doesn't mean that the Fatah isn't either. I can only see a civil war in which Fatah has US backing. The whole Arab world hates Israel, whatever so, they can't even beat the Israeli's in military engagement due to the fact Israel is supplied with American technology, plus, Israel has nuclear capability.
  6. Astros habemus. I'm know I got something wrong, perhaps some rule on Latin form.
  7. Indeed a lovely Church, I like the huge crosses they have on top and the colorfulness.
  8. Oi... poor you, but looking mighty fine (Sorry, unintended sarcasm.) . I hope the weather gets "better." It doesn't hurt God to make the weather 10 degrees warmer.
  9. Since we're talking about this, one thing that has perplexed me so is how the French and Germans got their accent? Is there some reason why it sounds so... well its sounds kind of rich like British. Main question, was it Gallic influence or Roman influence on the accent?
  10. Ok, its on Yahoo popular news. Its the second article for now so hurry. Well actually don't bother I'll post the whole article: CAIRO, Egypt - An American-Italian team of archaeologists has found the remains of 4,000-year-old ships that used to carry cargo between Pharaonic Egypt and the mysterious, exotic land of Punt, the Supreme Council of Antiquities has announced....
  11. Egypt - An American-Italian team of archaeologists has found the remains of 4,000-year-old ships that used to carry cargo between Pharaonic Egypt and the mysterious, exotic land of Punt, the Supreme Council of Antiquities has announced. The ships' remains were found during a five-year excavation of five caves south of the Red Sea port of Safaga, about 300 miles southeast of Cairo, the chairman of the supreme council, Zahi Hawass, said in a statement late Thursday...
  12. Lets see what my dictionary gives: far, -is, n. ador, -is, n. alicastrum, -i, n. (early ripening variety of emmer; summer spelt) farreus, -a -um (the adjective form) For beer: cervesa, -ae, f. (regular beer) cervesiola, -ae, f. (light beer) bracio, braciare, braciavi, braciatus (verb- to brew)
  13. Can't believe that thing survives in this kind of environment.
  14. Gellius is sure quite a fun guy to hang with. Is it really true that the philosophers are like that, especially in Athens? I mean really, 40 years!
  15. Regina templum deis sacrificiis concredibunt. Uh concredet since its just the queen and the verb is 3rd conjugation ? Unless its the gods are doing this action.
  16. Wait so any letter right? Well I'm up to it, but do we have to provide the link too? So lets see, I'll take what I can find in Z. I believe the last is always the best.
  17. You know, she'll probably will ask something in return for letting buying the sword. Educational promises maybe or plain old choors.
