  1. And lets not forget that the modern Welsh flag is derived from the later Roman legionary Draco! To assert their authority in the post Roman period Romano-British leaders emulated the departed legions by bearing the Draco standard.... or so I was taught.

Im sure we all know the historical and religious importance of the Emperor Constantine aka: 'Constantine the Great' 'Saint Constantine' Flavius Valerius Constantinus (AD ca. 285 - AD 337) I was wondering if anyone could explain why Constantine is not seen as a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church while he is in the Eastern Orthodox Churches?

  4. Mine would have to be the colossal statue of Constantine in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Rome: His expression seems different in every image I see of him!
