And lets not forget that the modern Welsh flag is derived from the later Roman legionary Draco! To assert their authority in the post Roman period Romano-British leaders emulated the departed legions by bearing the Draco standard.... or so I was taught.

Im sure we all know the historical and religious importance of the Emperor Constantine aka: 'Constantine the Great' 'Saint Constantine' Flavius Valerius Constantinus (AD ca. 285 - AD 337) I was wondering if anyone could explain why Constantine is not seen as a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church while he is in the Eastern Orthodox Churches?

Mine would have to be the colossal statue of Constantine in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Rome: His expression seems different in every image I see of him!
