I've just noticed that most bomb threats are fake, and by attention seekers only. It happened at my old school alot, (before I got there, but it always made the news so I knew) almost once a week they had one. Students had figured out that if they made a fake threat, they got out of school ::grumbles::
To be perfectly honest with you, I find this downright offensive, as my best friend at my school is pretty close to being "goth" or "punk" or whatever it is (in style anyway). In fact she's one of the few who actually has some respect for me. I've actually been referred to as "goth" myself, and I have no desire to hurt "you and your lot" and neither does my friend.
Preparedness is good, paranoia is not. The reason people succeed in causing the disruption they obviously want to cause is because people are so quick to react in the way they do. It's a sad state of affairs today...a good number of people seem to be terrified of packing materials.
