LOL nothing got me except for the very frustrating "no computer bug". It's extra frustrating in high school with lots of homework that would be better typed with my handwriting. Thank Gods for study halls. There isn't a god of study hall is there? Maybe I should invent one XD jk.

Lol computer is finally up and running. FINALLY. Took long enough. LOL I had a heck of a time with my internet connection, updating Norton and the like. I have to get ADAware too again. Finally got my IM back, and I'm working on getting my channel back soon (I lost my channel because I hadn't been on. They didn't realize my comp crashed). Lol so I should be more active again now. Monty Python is on PBS on Wednesday nights. 8:00. XD

My computer will be back this week (hopefully) or next week, unless something else happens. YAY!! I'm sick of having to use library computers, or my friends', because the library computers are always blocking things (I couldn't make this entry yesterday, they blocked access to my blog I don't know why. I know there's nothing inappropriate in here...) and they blocked access to the "Romana Humanitas" section of the forums (possibly because it mentions wine? I have no idea. They are so stupid). I can totally not wait to get my computer back, not only can I not do anything at my school and I don't like going to the library (where I can't do some things) but I need it for some of my school work. I missed out on some extra credit points in chem because of no internet access. I'm not too worried about the chem but I'm a bit peeved by the whole thing. On a lighter note, its warm here, and sunny, and should be close to 70 degrees F by the end of the week. Yay, I'm sick of the cold. Spring has sprung!! I got some more drawings done, but I cannot post them yet, for obvious reasons lol. I can't wait untill I can upload them though. Can someone sign into my chatroom to keep it active? Hopefully it has not been "decreated" since I lost my computer and couldn't be there to keep the room active. That would majorly suck. Gah.

I had great fun with this once...I wrote a "research paper" on the Greater Indian Sea Snipe (read: a creative essay. the "greater indian sea snipe" does not exist.) The teacher just smirked at me but the "theme reader" (yes, my school hired a specific person to read student writing and help the teachers grade it) thought I had researched it, and actually thought I had written it for a science class and had just used it for an English essay. She wanted to know my sources and made it a point to tell me that if I did not cite them, it was considered plagerism. I did not enlighten her (and laughed out loud at the thought of her bringing it up in a staff meeting...and having someone ELSE point out that what I had done was actually "creative writing" on a nonexistant species of bird)

I wore green glitter on my eyes (held on with Vaseline, which, I forgot, melts mascara. Take note, don't wear Vaseline and mascara both on your eyes) I actually REMEMBERED to wear my green, yay.

so do I lol. My comp is boxed up ready to ship back, but the nearest FedEX drop off point is 2 hour drive away (and for the amount of gas burnt up taking it there I could by a new computer) so we have to schedule a pick up but that's impossible untill Monday. I hope the tech people don't forget about me and wonder what the heck my computer is doing there when it gets there.

lol I missed FedEX so the box to send it back to the factory is delayed at least a day...grrr....I'll probably miss them again tomorrow because they like to come while I'm at school and mom works.

Sadly, today is the aniversery of the death of dear Gaius Julius Caesar. Hail Caesar!! My computer became a very expensive paperweight...(its only 6 months old btw) and is now worth less than the box it came in essentially, so if you don't see me around that's why. I'm still catching up when i can at the library (if you want to email me use my yahoo email...pirategrl666...because my gmail wont load on library computers for some reason.) I'm still working on that book review, of course with no computer it'll be slower going when I get the book read. I will have more time to read though.

The pillum couldn't be extracted from the sheild, rendering the shield useless, so that it had to be thrown aside and was no longer helping the enemy any. When the battle was over, the Romans collected the pilla from the sheilds that had been cast aside by using a special tool designed for the purpose I believe...(ingenius Romans!)

Can anyone point me in the direction of Roman reenactment groups in Minnesota (United States)? The reason I ask is, in a little over a year, I'm going to be going to MN. I may only be staying for the summer, I don't know, however I was looking for groups in the area, but only being able to find one and remembering that alot of these things spread by "word of mouth" (or fingers) I thought I'd ask.
