  1. Congrats on the fish Germanicus I love fishing but I prefer bass...I don't trout fish anymore...and I also ate chocolate I want to see all the "Scary Movies" I never got around to it yet though.
  2. So I woke up this morning, at about 11 00 (no sense getting up early on spring break of my senior year. Pretty soon i'm going to have to get a job ) and my mom is outside the bathroom door, she heard me get up and as I was brushing my teeth she told me she was sneaking into my room to get a hanger out of my closet. I find out she needs the hanger because the dryer won't turn on...we had clothes hanging in odd places all over the house... The reason the dryer wouldn't start was because as mom was trying to bake bread, she discovered that the stove would not turn *off*. She turned off the power, but that also shut down every 220 line in the house, including the dryer and the oven. She tried to unplug the burner but it wasn't the plug in kind-it was hard wired. The wires were broken somehow. So my grandad comes to help (that's who we call when we need something fixed) and he needs a flashlight. My mom gets hers only to discover that it has exploded. Literally. The batteries exploded and shattered the plastic outside part. So I fetch my flashlight from my nightstand. We then discover that in order to fix the stove we need wire nuts. We don't have any wire nuts, so mom asks me to run over to the neighbors and ask if they have any. My one neighbor answers the door, laughs slightly when I tell him the story, but looks confused when I ask about the wire nuts and says he doesn't think they have any, but sends me to another neighbor who just happens to bring over three different sizes...and meets my grandparents. Nice guy we sent him candy later in the day. So the stove is fixed and the bread is being very slow to rise as it is cold in the house, mom finally gives up and sticks it in the oven half risen. It turned out wonderfully. The one thing that went right today. We went to my grandparents for dinner, then came home and everything is back to normal...sort of. We still need to replace the 50 yr old countertop stove...there goes our "emergency fund" lol two burners still work but the wiring is just too old..its too risky to not replace it. So how was everyone else's Easter sunday?
  3. Happy birthday, AND happy "easter bunny day" (that's what its called in my family lol we aren't overly religious)
  4. What is this plant, anyone know? We found them in the garden when we moved in. They've come up every spring but we can't figure out what the heck they are! Pretty though, aren't they?

  5. This is what is commonly known as Indian Paintbrush. At least around here. I have no idea what the "proper" name for it is.

  7. White Lilies! Watercolor. I wish I'd gotten a better picture of this, though it's not exactly stunning in real life, it looks better than this photograph . I don't often work with watercolors as they are difficult and not very forgiving, but it is fun. I'm happy with how this came out.

  8. Somehow I missed this lol. Nice armor You're right, a bit showy. I highly doubt any Roman would have gone into battle that way, unless perhaps they were a very high ranking general or something. Even then, that was likely parade armor-something that fancy would get ruined in battle and so probably wouldn't be worn. On a completely unrelated note...he's kind of cute BTW what happened to "quick reply"?
  9. Another of my pretty little blue birds! I did this with Graphitints and colored pencils along with some plain ol' graphite

    Little Bunny

In time for Easter!! A little bunny rabit. I don't particularly like this one, I drew it on a night when I was pretty uninspired.

  11. I think these are primrose...aw well. This is one of my favorites. My main focus I think was a study of dewdrops I was going to color it, but it was just *too good* this way and I could not bear to touch it with color when I was done the pencil work. I wish the photo had turned out better so that you could fully appreciate the detail (of which there is way more in flowers than there appears at first glance)

    Little Bird

I've also forgotten the name of this bird I can never remember these things. Tiny little pencil sketch, by far not my favorite but my mom thinks it's cute

  15. These are my neighbors' Shi Tzus Suzy and Little Bear (Little Bear is the black one). I snuck over and grabbed a photo of them when no one was looking, then I painted this for them as a gift. Sorry about the more obtrusive copyright mark, I lost my good paint.NET program when my computer crashed and now I have to rely on good lighting for good pictures, and I can't use transparency

LMAO!! I love your "SPAM" and "spam" analogy.
  18. I may jinx myself here, but as of last night my galleries had no new posts whatsoever. I'll check tonite when I get the time to do so.
  19. I haven't noticed anything, but then I don't go back to my galleries all that much, just the new images. I wasn't aware that this was a problem if I see any though I'll just delete them
  20. I read the review, very good review and the book looks very excellent indeed! When I actually get the cash together and am putting an order in, I'll get a copy.
  21. that movie absolutely ROCKS!! I have "Life of Brian" I've been looking around for "Holy Grail" and also "History of the World" (Mel Brooks)
