  1. Oh OK. Yes English is becoming common now. Which is strange considering it is meant to be a hard language to learn. Hmm, i think we have strayed off the topic of Latin. Oh well
  2. ok. We too start a language at grade 6. It used to be just Japanese but i think they also do Frence now. But we have the choice of dropping it in grade (or year) 9. Are you from an English speaking country, or is English a class in which you are taught English? We have English as a subject, but that is more about learning to spell (for the younger grades) and how to write essays and the like (for the older grades).
  3. WOW! Thank you so much Nephele! cheers!
  4. I'm sure you'll do fine Klingan. I live in Australia. Other schools offer other languages such as Italian, but mine only offered those two. Assuming you have recently finished school yourself, what languages did you have a choice of? Or did your school not offer it?
  5. good luck with this one nephele full name= aenynjsameatsewaalh fist and last name = alaatamswehnse thankyou so much for this cheers!
  6. you guys are lucky that you can read even a little latin. i never got the option to learn it at school, we got the choice of French and Japanese. i took Japanese, and after six years the only thing i remember is how to sing 'if your happy and you know it'. Wow what a waste of time that was. The only latin i ever learnt was the scientific names of organisms (thanks to Biology). i would love to learn latin though. it is a wonderful language.
  7. good evening all. just like to say that i love your site!! its increadably usefull as i am currently writing a novel set in the medieval era and am in need of clarification of some aspects of history. despite my novel being fantasy, i am drawing aspects of our past into the story (such as clothing). good job on the site!
