  1. 'No comment' on that last part by the way.
  2. Doctor Who is set to take a trip back in time with his new companion to the Roman Empire.
  3. Personally, the only Russian "classics" I liked were by Chekov (The Cherry Orchard and The Three Sisters) I can understand that. With each novel in the series the "weirdness" factor tended to multiply and, well, you can imagine how things were shaping up by, ohhhhhhh, book #5 or so! LOL!
  4. But Gaius ... did you get to keep the basketball?
  5. I tink it would all depend on whether Ditka was normal sized or miniature. If he's miniature, then Caesar MIGHT have a chance. If he's normal sized? Da Bears!
  6. Good point. Perhaps we should ply her with some vino?
  7. I've just begun the Colleen McCollough series myself. Finished "First Man in Rome" and have just begun "The Grass Crown." Prior to that, my last books were "The Family" by Mario Puzo, and "Worker's Compensation Claims Law"
  8. I loved the Dune series. They got a little weird in the later books, but the first 3 were great IMO.

  12. I've heard of a pie hole before, but never a cake hole! Hey Shakespeare ... !
  13. Same here. When I start a book though I hate not to finish it. This one couldn't end quickly enough. The movies? Loved 'em. The book? Not so much.
  14. D'oh! If only we'd had a "Year Zero"! Now who the hell am I going to give this cake to? Wikipedia has only the following 2 blokes listed as being born in 64 BC: * Gaius Julius Hyginus * Marcus Valerius Messalla Corvinus
  15. Well, okay then. As the new guy I just do what I'm told. So with that in mind, at approx 4pm EST time I will be departing the boards, returning at approx 6:45am EST tomorrow.
  16. Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus, born 2070 years ago yesterday. I will sacrifice 5 healthy bulls in your honor!

My Ipod is loaded up with predominantly 80's tunes.
  18. Exeter? Also, should we consider the different numbered sections a clue? It also appears that in the upper right hand area there may be part of a turret ...
