  1. Ha! I would have bet there's one out there already. Hmmm... I'd like just to be the guy who gets to write up the "Chance" and "Community Chest" cards. That was the funnest part! LOL! (I also wish I new more about the different sections of Rome rather than having to rely on all the stereotypical places I used)
  2. "You bellicose warmonger, your accusation against the DPRK is no more than barking at the moon!" (Ozzy Osbourne fans?)
  3. Hangover. Rx: The hair of the dog that bit you.
  4. "You extra-large gangster, you will be dealt a thousandfold retaliatory blow!"
  5. The board game that's sweeping the Empire ... Romanopoly!
  6. Is 'Optio' Latin for 'idiot,' by chance?
  7. You're just mad because I insinuated that you had Agrippa take the S.A.T.'s for you!
  8. Here's one for MPC to try out: MPC: Knock, knock! Friend of MPC: Uh, who's there .. ?? MPC: I don't know, but it ain't Caesar!
  9. Rumor has it you had Agrippa take 'em for you. 800 on math? Pfffft!
  10. ASCLEPIADES is at the 15! The 10! The 5 ... TOUCHDOWN!!!!
  11. Some other favorites... Trivial Pursuit Scattergories Apples and Oranges Was never a big fan of the usual suspects when it came to board games, Monopoly and Life. "Bored Games" is the more proper term IMO. Although ... a Roman version of each would be kind of funny.
  12. I think you are correct. Augustus played it with Gaius and Lucius in an attempt to teach them military strategery. As for me, my favorite growing up was "Risk" (Hey, it was game of WORLD DOMINATION for cryin' out loud!). My brother and I and various friends would stay up until all hours playing. Tip: Europe is indefensible. Stick with Africa and the Americas. And Australia is a deathtrap.
  13. "You anti-socialist hooligan, we will mercilessly crush you with the weapon of singlehearted unity!" You go, girl!
  14. Yeah, but it's still not as cool as, you know ... "Optio."
  15. Click Supposedly, all insults are generated from real phrases that appeared in the North Korean press. "You bourgeois reactionary!"
  16. "Ides of March" ... which I imagine in Cato's household is probably seen as a time for bringing family together, gathering around and exchanging gifts while singing famous "Ides-mas" carols (eg: 'Ding Dong the Dictator's Dead'). Congratulations MPC!
  17. Very cool, Pertinax! Excuse my ignorance, but are you involved in this group of folks?
  18. I failed to mention another fascinating book I'm reading now, "Foundations of Risk Management, Insurance, and Professionalism." Ugh!
  19. Clue: Founded circa 500 BC by the Phonecians. Reached it's heights during the Severen dynasty
  20. Your liver is pretty sharp! Sorry, fellas! Didn't realize anyone had replied.
