    This is right at a turbulent time in Britain's history, the Roman forces are gone and Germanics are invading. I would suppose the bizarre aspects were related to defensive strategies.

    It's been sluggish for me and my FTP connections always lag out.

    Sorry for the slow page loads and such. It makes editing the site and connecting to FTP a real pain in the ass, too.

    I had a mod installed that would show a sample of the contents of a topic when hovering over the title with your mouse. Apparently it did not like the text formatting in the Cilurnum topic and was getting a nasty parse error when trying to understand the tags used in the post. Anyways, the mod is gone, it took up processing power and was not handy enough in the first place.

    There is currently no way for you to do it. Maybe if I renovate the site template to rely utterly upon CSS, you'll have your wish granted.

    Insular Celtic is probably a hybrid of Continental Celtic and the language of the mesolithic people who occupied Britain before the neolithic migration of the Celts ~4000 BC. If the differences in the two Celtic languages could be isolated, some generalized root words of the mesolithic language might be deducted and analyzed. Wouldn't that be cool..

    The week before a member's birthday, a notice will show up on the main page. Same thing with every other calendar event. I'm not sure what you mean in your first paragrach, could you elaborate?

    It's a slightly modified version of 'bukbrown' for Invision forums. Most of the buttons and icons are new though.
