  1. Hmmm, what is your definiton of 'electron'? Patinact? There is already technology being used to control prosthetics by nerve signal.
  2. What browser/version are you using? The chat uses Javascript. Are you using any sort of pop-up blocker? You may need to disable pop up blocking for UNRV.
  3. Any abuse of the the chatroom or excessive server loading results in no chatroom. This includes flaming. Have fun
  4. Hey, who said you can post... get back in there and work on those web modifications! Yes, sir. Many apologies, sir.
  5. He's completely right. If you: 1) Always save some of your income and do what Ursus said. If you can't save even a little money, you are living beyond your means. 2) Only get 1 credit card and use it ONLY to develop credit. Meaning you have the money saved already and you send your payment at the time you make the purchase. Refer to #1!!! Always do #1!! That will make things sooooooooo much easier for you. Before you get out of highschool you should find out all you can about how to manage your personal finances so that you can make a plan for yourself. I personally don't know any retired 45 year olds. I know many people who did not plan ahead and are older than 65 still working to earn their living.
  6. As I implied before, this spat truly has no relation to the purposes of this forum and is better suited to the RV forums or the RVsRP forums or better yet private messages.
  7. ROFL! Racism? Did I miss something?
  8. Irish, Belgian, German, whatever. I love it. Guinness is quintessential though. Anyways, all I have to say about honor is that it doesn't involve contradictions. I know few truly honorable people.
  9. I can set up something simple and see how it goes. Although, in my experience, I have not seen something as small scale as this become practical. Perhaps someone would like to set up an IRC channel?
  10. I believe Justinian is considered a Byzantine emperor. If he does show up on this site it will be a while from now.
  11. I suppose I've been pretty lucky and very stupid. I used to backcountry snowboard in avalanche areas a lot in highschool. I thought riding off cliffs was fun and that ski resorts were great places to race my friend. Other mishaps include falling asleep at the wheel on the highway, exploding items at work, the accelerator sticking open on my car, and basically college - all of which turned out fairly well - so I guess I can't really complain.
  12. Depending on conditions, 15+ years.
  13. That's how it was done for thousands of years.
  14. Test... I was able to vote after posting. Are you guys hitting 'View Results' before submitting a vote? I'll see if I can change that, since it submits a null vote.

  16. Marching speed is approx 20 miles per day at about 20 miles per 5 hours. Max around 25 miles per 5 hours. Boudicca attacked Colchester in late spring - the beginning of war season. Do you need to know cavalry in the whole of Britain at the start of the revolt?
  17. I assume this was the same parole board letting murderers out early.
  18. The background is slightly darker now. How does it look to you guys?
  19. I dont have any alternate themes set up, but I can edit the style easily. What would you suggest for the text/background color?
  20. Some excellent poems were submitted by members during our writing contest: http://www.unrv.com/book-review/matt-gallivan.php http://www.unrv.com/book-review/adam-yuhasz.php
