  1. It'll be good news if it doesn't pass. You know... I thought of something. Whoever came up with this is a sneaky devil. Instead of increasing taxes>stifling economy>losing tax revenue they are guaranteeing future tax revenue>stifling economy>setting up a distaster once guaranteed tax revenue disappears. But yet... it all seems so harmless! "Were not raising taxes", "We're fixing a glitch in the system"
  2. Wait a minute... it's... the Neverending Story!!! ATTREEEEEYYYYYYUUUUUUUU!!
  3. I've noticed that most of the interesting technology (with potentially practical uses) of the time was used by religious groups to perform 'miracles'.
  4. Some of these topics will provide some insight to the topic. He started out very enthusiastic and sparked quite a few interesting discussions, but for whatever reason he started to try to impose a sense of guilt on everyone for sharing an interest in ancient Rome. He was very sly about it and on the surface appeared to be jovial. I, for one, have little tolerance for stuff like that. http://www.unrv.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1272 http://www.unrv.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1431 http://www.unrv.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1458
  5. You guys might get a kick out of this... http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.unrv.com If you look at the early 2003 pages, you can see the Roma Victor era site that ran on PostNuke Heres some of the early logos for that site...
  6. Anyone curious about the people who came before the Celts and other mesolithic/neolithic people should pick up this book: After the Ice by Steven Mithen. I highly recommend it.
  7. And don't forget to 'publish' it.
  8. In the forum index at the bottom, there are links to delete the forum cookie or mark all posts as read. They might be of some help to you.
  9. Yes, we love googlebots, they're so cute and cuddley.
  10. I'll see what I can do! Everyone... thanks for the feedback.
  11. I'm using Firefox also. When did this start?
  12. There's a fundamental difference though. I doubt that you bounce between jobs because you lack work ethic or priciples. You're obviously very smart and you are setting and achieving your goals. I used to move to a different state every year or less, simply because I wanted to go places.
  13. What browser are you using? Do you use any pop-up blockers or anti-spam?
  14. Added! The Blog/Gallery are Invision developed mods for version 2.0+ I believe.
  15. And 'Admin' is member number 0. lol
  16. Ahh... try again. The option was enabled for it to act like a category and not a forum... whatever that means.
  17. LOL, there's something about it that makes you look closer.
  18. Thanks for the appreciation!
  19. Your posts are there. The thing is, each blog owner has the option to require approval for each comment posted. That means that they will have to approve it before it becomes publicly visible. I've taken the liberty to aprrove your comments on Lacertus' blog.
  20. I've fixed a few as well. I'm going to dig through some of the post rendering code to see if i can just eliminate the escaped notes altogether.
  21. The problems in these posts were caused by incorrectly escaped HTML notes for quoted text in the old forum posts. If anyone sees any more thread where the post numbers (the sequential numbers in the top right of the post) are missing a section of replies, perhaps 3 or 4, let me know!
  22. Yeah I saw it and adjusted the CSS. There were also some blue sections showing up in PM bodies.
  23. Nice work! Kinda creepy.
  24. I might. Right now, only the 'Citizen' group can create galleries. This can be done by following the 'My Controls' link in the header. EDIT: I've added a direct link to the Gallery controls from the Gallery.
