  3. http://www.johntaylorgatto.com/chapters/index.htm Take it as you will, but I happen to think that this is some of the most important information available.
  4. Hahaha! I love the drawing! P.S. - Yeah, LW where the hell have you been, don't you keep up to date on all the web fads? You're so 2004. hahaha
  5. You get the satisfaction of knowing that you have a voice.
  6. "life outside the bubble that can be the US..." I often wish that most fellow Americans would experience this. Write down as much as you can, for your own sake!
  7. What browser do you use? I usually use Firefox and when I run into some weird stuff I pull up the same page in IE to compare. You may want to clear your cache (not cookies) to see if that helps anything.
  8. Suicide rates dramatically increase in areas where there is a highly publicized suicide. School shootings dramatically increased after the highly publicized Columbine shooting. If people can identify with what they see and have a considerable amount of uncertainty in their lives, they will act on what seems to be the 'common' solution. Media publications are well aware of the influence they have, but really... its about attracting the most audience.

  16. Has anyone mentioned 'The Thin Red Line'?
  17. I'm not sure why but this makes me think of a book called Influence - Science and Practice by Robert Cialdini.
  18. LOL, the article really has no information in it. Even the title is based on an 'official' estimation.
  19. Awesome picture for sepia, there's so much variation in texture and contrast!!!
  20. What about rolling your own cigarettes?
  21. Little Kings... do those come in an 8-pack of short bottles and have a crisp, peppery taste? If so, I distinctly remember drinking that and shooting at ducks and geese at the park with a pellet pistol late at night. I'm pretty sure I chewed Copenhagen at that point, also.
  22. 17% - Odd, I grew up on a farm and my first car was indeed an old Camaro. Though I never had a mullet, I did have a mohawk and I tend to be Libertarian.
