I've been searching and it seems quite a few people have problems using Invision forums with Internet Explorer, both 6 & 7. They claimed the issue has been fixed for about a year, so I'm not sure when or how it will be resolved. It seems to be random, since not all people using IE and not all Invision forums are affected. The only solution I can offer at the moment is to try using Firefox or Opera.

Don't worry about it, you're not a pain. Is this other forum Invision 2.2.2? Also, go to 'My Controls' then 'Board Settings' and make sure you are using the standard text editor and not the rich text editor. I think this may be part of the problem, since it uses a lot of Javascript.

Has anything changed with any of these problems?

I'm doing that now, Moon - thanks for the tip. As for others experiencing the problem - I did have a PM from GPN stating that on his return it took quite a while before he was able to post. But I am hopeful - as GPN is now sorted out, let's hope I will be too. Thanks for all your tireless efforts in this, Moon. Fortunately, his was fairly simple to solve since it had to do with his ISP's use of dynamic IP addresses. What concerns me about your problem is that its crashing your browser, which means theres not only problem with the forum software, but also your browser software.

Have you run a recent Windows update? Is anyone else running into this problem?

I've also run into strange stuff while trying to post. I've been reading various support forums and it turns out that many people are having strange problems that Invision is trying to come up with fixes for. A lot of the problems seem random and usually don't make any sense. I thought for once that UNRV might have had a relatively smooth forum upgrade, which might have been true if the software simply did not suck. Seems to me that Invision puts a priority on bloating their software with the latest and greatest knick-knacks at the expense of stability, security, compatibility, etc... I had to actually change the server's memory limit configuration to get the forum to work correctly because its so bloated. Keep letting me know what happens and I'll try to find some sort of solution. Just in case, try clearing your browser cache/temp files.

Anyone who resents you simply because you've earned the rewards of personal responsibility yet complains about the consequences of their own irresponsibility.

For anyone running into any problems, try pushing Ctrl + F5 to fully reload the page and overwrite any previously cached files, then retry.

You're correct... in 'standard' terms. Did you discuss supercritical and ultracritical coal power plants? BTW, I'm also talking about gasoline and the continued improvements to fuel efficiency.

What browser are you using? There's also a chance that you have a pop up blocker.
