  1. I had a accident a t work, the tool i was using exploded and a piece of steel burst my eye.I was very unlucky because the thing blew up (manufacturing fault were the grinder was made).I was very lucky because the surgeon was very good and he was able to save my eye,i have a artificial lense now,so i cant see very well but i dont look daft (glass eyes never look right do they) L Do you think luck evens itself out?

  4. If the soldiers didnt wear socks they wouldnt have any toes left by the morning,it can get bitterly cold up here in the winter.Just the thought of only wearing sandals barefoot makes me shiver. L
  5. The military could use the exchange posts, these stations had fit fresh horses ready for the messanger to swap mounts. They would have to be a post every 20miles or so if the messenger was to go full gallop all the way,so these stations were probably mainly used in Italia. The sign of these ecxhange posts was a sandal. L
  6. No,no popstars yet. We just have the usuall lying old toe rags who couldnt care a less about the British people. The thing is,there all as bad as each other,so you have to vote for the same people everytime even when you know there scumbags(blair). I couldnt believe it when Arnie got California,is he a bad politician?or is he a breath of fresh air? maybe its what we need, chuck all the mps in the sea and get famouse people to run things you never know

  12. I liked liam neesons character,it would of been better with him as the lead role instead of orlando bloom.Orlandos motivation speaches were rubbish,he wasnt convincing at all The king of Jerusalem had a dignity about him i liked, and the pity you felt for him when his mask was off.But the good acting was spoilt by the very bad cliche remarks" u are your fathers son"there was too many rubbish lines like that.I thought the battle scenes looked good, but the artillery barrage on Jerusalem was a bit much,it was like Salahadin was firing 88s. my favorite line from the film Godfrey "I once fought for two days with a arrow through my testicle" LOL
  13. The expanssion pack looks good 1 - it's called RTW: Barbarian Invasion 2 - it is set in the years 364 to 476 AD, with the Roman empire split into East and West 3 - you can play as either "wing" of the Roman empire and start with a fully formed empire. Your object is simple - survive! The barabarian hordes and lots of rebellions to fend off it says. 4 - There are several barbarian campaigns - Vandals, Saxons and Huns are named 5 - There is a rival empire - the Sassanid from Persia 6 - the Huns have no settlements at all and start with "15 large armies" and have to sweep across the map 7 - there are lots of new units and tactics: a type of x-bow unit, Hun lancers, barbarian Golden Band (elite berserkers), mobile chariot artillery, the Shiltrom (a kind of barabarian phalanx), a shield wall formation, morale boosting druids and priests are all mentioned 8 - there will be spectacular night time battles where morale of the defenders will be lower at the start (tho attackers' morale can drop it seems if they don't break through!) 9 - river battles will allow some light units (inc cavalry!) to SWIM across and avoid "death at the bridge"
