  1. I'm not sure but Flavius was, in Theodosian age, was no more a name and become a title. The name come from Flavius Vespasianus, and also Theodoric use Flavius are first name and also some Lombards kings. perhaps during the last part of IV century we have the losting of two name in provincies?
  2. Yes zagreb...i have called it in Italian, Zagabria, sorry. Etruscan language is used to celebrate rites and not for history, but appear on manufactures goods. These writings are simple and generally means "I am make by..." or "I belong to..." On the origin of Etruscan language i have heard rumors(but i'm working on medieval) that its link with anatolian ones are confirmed by some lingustics
  3. Schliemann was a child of his age, as many others "Scientist" of XIX century he was a scientist and aventurier, a good man and a Fraude. Judgin' him with modern archeological he is surely overshadow but for its time he was, if not good, at least intuitive

  6. Hi But Etruscan language is not unknow...we are able to read it; only Etruscan don't write much... and we have a rosetta-like thing for Etruscan and it is the Mummy of Zagabria.
