    Moving out v 2.0.

Well I changed room again, but now the contracts is written and I'm much more at peace with the new place. An uptade will come.
  2. I was stunned by a headline in the papers yesterday: Germans build Pyramid of death Here's a link to one article, I'm sure you'll easily find many many more. The pyramid of death!
  3. Marcus Regulus. Returning to Carthage to torture and death because of a oath, that's to take promises seriously. Somehow the event and action always struck me as truly honorable.
  4. Don't get me wrong I love history(Why would I be here if I didn't?), but the question I would ask is, when in history has anyone ever learned from the past? We as the human race generally make the same mistakes over, just in new ways You may not find any direct anwsers in the past most of the time but for every page of history you read, you will know the human race and mens reactions a little better.
  5. Actually, the decline of the local team here have gone so far that I have totally lost my interest in hockey... Oh Red hawks what did happen? Aka I don't know
  6. Now that would make me feel strange.. Too much Picard in him for me
  7. You should play hockey. If you did, and since your from Sweden, the Detroit Red Wings would sign you to a contract Niklas Lidstrom, Henrik Zetterberg, Mikael Samuelsson, Johan Franzen, Tomas Holmstrom, Niklas Kronwall, Andreas Lilja, Jonathan Ericsson and loads of young prospects. There's room for a Klingan. Actually I did try to stand on ice a few times when I was a kid. Fatal mistakes. I always fell and hit myself real bad
  8. Wow those are rather cool. I have something like that of Augustus that I bought in Rome.
  9. I used to play american football a few years back, have had a break since keeping it to running. Now after moving I'll join a team of laid back soccer players. Perfect, easy and no pressure.
  10. Happy birthday! Live long and prosper
  11. Thanks god it's cold up here, else imagine how big that would be
  12. I have been lazy, not checking my comments. Today I saw that there were at least one curious man asking about how the moving out was going. This is how it looks right now: I was in the last second out maneuvered from two rooms. However I have been in line for a room at another place too. It was more of a second choice and I had not thought much about it, but destiny did it's part and I was first in line for a room yesterday and they called me. Now imagine to get a call about a room when you've just had 4 hours of lecture and are on your way to a Latin exam. I asked them to call me later. 2 hours later they called me and said that I had time to decide until 7 pm the same night. Rough terms. I wavered and wondered. This place have certain pro's and con's. It's cheaper and slightly larger (2300 Kr ( 230
  13. now I didn't read the article very carefully but if cannibalism wiped out the Neanderthals, why in Gods name are we still here?

    Mark Antony

Well I somehow I doubt that you can use HBO as a source However I have heard that (some?) ladies sometimes prefer large or at least not very small members? Wouldn't this be the case back then too? I cannot confirm this myself though. Besides that there are art where people have huge penises too.
  15. Jumping on the train a little bit late, I stumbled on some pictures yesterday.
  16. Well De bello gallico would be a good start.

Or the artists made their statues badly equipped to impress their own wifes?
  18. Well the workload always a pain in the ass. but you'll live through it if you have the motivation, trust me I've been there. (What in hell did make me study at 3 times the normal speed???) Good luck and good choice of subject
  19. Well I don't know about everywhere else (I hope I'm not hijacking the thread now), but in Sweden we have at least a dozen companies with Roman names, those are some I can remember at the spot: (My translations will most likely not be very accurate since my Latin isn't that good and it's going Latin -> Swedish -> English) Felix (Happy) Domus (Home) ProViva (The company translates it as "For life", I reckon it would be something like "For the female life" since it's an feminine declination.) ProCivitas (The company wants it to be translated as "For the state" but I believe that it wrong.) Other common words, that most people know of, are: Video (I see) Audio (I hear) Volvo (I roll)
  20. Holy crap. This is truly a creature spawned from the depths of popularism and the craving for more money.
  21. Is this the same earthquake as Caldrail was talking about or yet another one? (Based on that my approximate knowledge of your geographical position is correct)

    Moving out.

The first room was snatched in the last minute, got another one on the way now. I'm far into the line new and at the moment. the system works like this: Everyone have a spot in the line. Then you book rooms as they get available. At the moment I'm 1 out of 28 on one room. Unless someone with a lower number in the line books it within the next 24 hours it's mine
  23. Happy birthday mate! I hope you really have a good one!
  24. The Eurovision song contest is a joke. I do not watch it, nor do I believe I ever will, but it was very difficult to not notice the group Sweden sent last year. Urk I'm ashamed for my own country.
