Say what you want to. You started this and I answered to your call. Your a full Democrat and I am a full Republican so our views will differ. And since do you know how much I know about? As for the stereotype: I'm not attacking you just your view on this issue.
-
John Myrtha is a good politician!!! Wow you really are like those mother loving Liberals. You can't take anything seriously and don't see the blatant obvious issue here. Then again your logo is a jack***. By the way not only rich people are Republicans. I'm not rich and neither are most of my friends who are Republican. Your stereotyping is nonsense. My philosophy is based on morals and protection, something the Republicans have and something the Democrats lack.
-
They were going out on an agenda to destroy America anyways. What's the Democratic way of solving it? Clearly if John Myrtha, a Democrat, was president we'd been long gone from history. Remember Reagan? He decided to spend money on national defense, something those Democrats don't do, and spent money on a missile disabler. Now with the nuclear strikes from North Korea a certain over criticising party went quiet. Seriously some of these Democrats out there are way out of line. It's time to face reality, you can't annex Canada and disband the entire U.S.A army. Or maybe we should pull out of Iraq all together and give it back to unstable, uncivilized, people who randomly shoot bullets in the air. Muslim Brotherhood takes office and no rational thinking. These people will do anything to destroy America and they must be stopped. Then again the Middle East should go on persecuting some more people because they are 'disturbed.' Cutting off people's heads and killing people for wearing shorts. And you Democrats complain about Guantanamo Bay.

lol, we're basically the opposite from that standpoint. However you're artistic ability will serve you a lot better than my handwriting. My friends make fun of me because I am a boy who writes neat. However it's small and I don't make weird curves and don't change my writing style in the middle of writ I hope it will serve me some day... Anyways you're art work is a lot better. If those weird critics judge right you're art work is MUCH better than Picasso.

OUCH! I feel sorry for a telemarketer and that's not easy to say. Is the telemarketer sure he did not call solitary confinement?

For the explanation of how Egypt influenced Greece, please refer to this: Greece probably would have been a power, not like the same Greece we know of though. Many mythical and foundations of astronomy, mathematics, and medicine first started there. The first Greek philosophers were said to be taught by Egyptian priest that acted like teachers. Anyways, I'd like to talk about the issue at hand. Did the Romans live like Celts? In which way were they different than the other European tribal groups? What were their mythical beliefs? Was their infrastructure just a bunch of hut houses? Sorry, just full of questions here. ^_^ By the way Q. Valeris Scerio, I am not about to believe that Remus and Romulus are the only explanation. I actually find them taking on legendary status also. Again, I'm here to learn and if anyone can help me I much aprecitate it. I'd like to think another thing started Rome, something believable. I feel kind of stupid talking about Rome while not exactly knowing how it got there.

I have curious questions about the pre-Roman area. Remus was killed by Romulus and then we have Rome, well we all know the story. Before that however were their just said 'Romans' around the area living in the hills? Is that why Greece easily conquered parts of Itlay and referred to them as 'barbarians?' Did they have a unified area like Athens? Could you say the same for Greece? They were taught by Egypt correct and became a power. Did the same thing happen with Rome?

I'm like the rest of you guys, just shocked. I don't know what happened I thought I was dreaming. It's sad that throught the World Cup, this will be remembered. I'll remember the way Ghana fought out of a tough group and almost beat Brazil. I'll remember the Aussies giving all they had and taking to the stands like World Class fans. I'll remember Trinidad and Tobago making a small nation proud to be from there. I'll remember the Mexicans outplaying Argentina and scoring the first goal. I'll remember the German pride and how they presented their nation. They made their nation nation proud and left all they had out on the field. There's no such thing as you had fun, or you tried, it's you played the game the way it is supposed to be played. Those are the true champions.

I'll keep my mouth shut. All I'm going to say is France needs a hug. That's all, they need a hug.

13 Things That Don't Make Sense
Rameses the Great replied to Viggen's topic in Hora Postilla Thermae
The most logical answer for me, is that it is a space continum. Like Earth you go around it and you end up in the same place. Well, I think space is the same thing. -
Ok, now we need all predictions by tommorrow. France vs. Itlay. Put in your thoughts. As for me now I'm recalling an event when Italy played France. Italy scored first. Everyone thought it was over as it headed to stoppage time, and then France scored. They went to extra time and France won it there. So France wins.

LOL, two Egyptians getting their 'groove on.' Not too painful. Well, here you are.
-
Well, can't you say that for every other nation? I mean they all had some downfall and if not some outside force overwhelmed them, it would not have mattered. The above statement makes sense to me. Adapting to new challenges that arise are part of what makes a protected, healthy, and civilized empire. Alaric saw a weakness in the Roman army, exploited it, and Rome failed to adapt. This led to the downfall of the empire. Greece failed to adapt to the Roman tactics and army and fell. It does not surprise me nations adapt everyday, allowing flexibility. We've seen it again and again in the time of history. However I feel like the Celts would have fell regardless of adapting to the Roman army. At that time, they were no match no matter how many angles you look at it.

Couldn't the Egyptians have gotten this from trade with Malaysia and Indonesia?

Apologies, I meant America. Made the correction.

I have heard about the Carthaginians reaching America before. Just a few questions I'd like answered here: 1. Did they make a colony, or was their stay too short? 2. Did they run into trouble with the natives as the Vikings did? 3. Did they propose trade to help boost their economy, and trick the Indians? 4. Where did they land during their expeditions? Thank you...if answerable

Yes, but coincidentally they both had great sea faring skills. -

Oh yes, I love birds! They are magnificent animals. I have a loving bird of my own. Did you know they are the only animals who have feathers? The female bird of mine killed my male bird. The male stepped into the nest where all the eggs were, and the female repeatedly pecked it on the head until it died. Ho hum...Darn, now it's lonely but I let it out a lot. -
Well, Italy are the first finalists for the 2006 World Cup. Congragulations to Italy, and shame on Germany. They wanted to take this to penalty shootouts and played poorly. Also the first goal in overtime could have been avoided. Had the four standing Germans, contested the guy who freely passed it through a large gap, converged on him...we could be talking about a whole new game. Either way, the Italians and Germans will declare nuclear warfare on their own cities. The host nation is ousted and for that I am sad. Oh well, you must remain impartial in these situations. I loved seeing Del Piero out there, I used to love to play FIFA 2000 because of him.

I believe that this a great question and welcome to UNRV. The thing about the Celtic and German longswords is that they needed a lot of room to wield it. They thought if they had a bigger sword than they would be more intimidating. The legion's large shield can stop the oncoming sword if need be, but by then the Roman dagger would have stabbed him.
