  1. What is an 'RSS'? What is an 'RSS Feed'?
  2. No matter how you cut it, you are all reprobates!
  3. Only proves how much that you are aware of your environs. Do try to be a little more observant - and stay off of the motorways. Basil
  4. LOL! That guy does look like an Italian prop! But I reckon he looks even more like the England's latest coaching casualty, Brian Ashton! The pictures are great. It would've been an experience to have been there. My kids want some armour like that now! You will regret having insulted Eyetalians! You barbarian! Basil
  5. Listen, you two, I'll beat you both - together- at regular English Scrabble. Hands down; eyes closed; anyway you all like it!
  6. Faustus, you of all beings, leave me abglomerated.
  7. Listen, you kali4kneeya reprobate, why would anyone in their polluted minds go to bean town? Not even the Glorious Ted Williams would tip his cap to those beings. When you come to America, I will treat you and your followers along with Nephele and her man to lunch at Fairway (I owe her). I'll pick up all y'all at some convenient place. This does not mean that you or Nephele are forgiven for not enquiring about my recent absence from the Forum.
  8. My Good Fellow: Don't you know the reason for a bureauocracy? It is to make certain that such as Shell get depletion allowances and tax write-offs. Those of the Great Unwashed are to be kept in poverty. Get a grip!
  9. Are they a 'certain' parties porta loos? If you read his blog. Per nadi mil an Roma.
  10. Please tell me how much it will cost to mail it to Massachusetts. If it aint too much, I will have you mail it to my illustrious Teutonic Father-in-Law. You know that you will get a check from me.
  11. mugabe won his war against the British with the training and the assistance of the north koreans. I'll bet that the ordinary folk wish that you Brits were still there. As a matter of fact, I wish that King George were ruling America rather than king georgie poo the bushe.
  12. We seem to forget here that the second battle of Adrianople proved that the two halves really needed each other.
  13. September 1, intrigued me. From my old notes I found that one or two people (Christians?) at Byzantium (probably Constantinople), introduced a system which counted years from the Beginning of the World, which he/they calculated at 5508 B.C. The beginning of the year was September 1. It had a fifteen year 'Indiction' period. (Whatever that means.) We are now in the year 7515 by this system. I don't know when this system was introduced or even if it was used, but it is possible that the medieval monks confounded it with the Varronian system. Interestingly, for me at least, it comports with the Creationists theory of when the world was created.
  14. I wonder how the Romans and other ancients treated their 'ancient' buildings?
  15. Whilst going through my ancient notes whilst reposing in bed, I came across some items which no longer have meaning to me. HALP! 1."Ceremonial Foundation of Constantinople (florii(?) or Avithusa)" 2."4 Nov. of first year of 276th Olympiad or 326 A.D." Amor is the secret name of Roma. April 21st is Roma's Birthday! Happy Birthday Roma! E' per nadi mil an'
  16. You're toast! Just you wait for your bio in the D.J. I did have to walk around with a chicken on a leash in school. There's your neo-dinosaur!
  17. See how mny times you can string out the word 'that' (serially), and still make sense.
  18. Well, lets get down to brass tacks. Did you get ravaged or not?
  19. "What's a girl to do for work nowadays? tongue.gif" Why do you do this to me?
  20. So, you got diddled. Big deal! If it's the first time, be happy. If it's the last time , be ecstatic. Part of growing up. One day, I will tell all, all about the guys who tried to sell my group a 'Gold Machine'. Then there were the realty scams. When I went to school, you got what you got, and that was that. The dean would treat you harshly if you so much as mentioned the 'color' of the facilities. Dorms were segregated by sex, and never the two met. Never - well, unless there was a raid. We weren't considered experienced enough in life to discuss politics. No political clubs allowed. The only discussuions we had were about how much of a charge to put in the Civil War cannon, or how to desecrate the deans house. Nonetheless, I am sorry to hear that you can't bring your pussy with you.
  21. In re 'Greek Fire': What did the Romans call it? Were their ships armed port, starboard, fore, and aft with these 'guns'? Did the infantry and cavalry use the 'grenades'? Did they use 'land mines'? Were these weapons used in 1453 to defend the walls of Constantinople? If not, why not?
  22. Goes a long way towards explaining kali4kneeyans' inability to spell or use a spell checker. They're a bunch of grease monkeys!
