Maybe the edge of the universe is really the end and the limit. Maybe if you get to the edge and attempt to penetrate to the other side, you will end up coming out on the opposite edge of the universe and vise versa. Does that make sense? For example if you enter through the northern edge, you instantly come out of the southern edge, you know like going around in circles.

Look for me in Euro 2008. I'll try to get a tan

No, I'm doing Caracalla. I'm not done yet, I haven't had the chance to sit down and really work on it. But I'll get his biography done sooner or later.

Alright I cried, now I'm simply angry and outraged. I must take my revenge out on someone. What shall I ever do? Maybe hire the mafia to carry out my revenge, or maybe the next time the Italian national team plays, I'll take my clothes off and jump on the field to mock the Italian players by drawing the flag of Italy on my visible backside.
-
I really hate that Italian team, they don't deserve to touch or raise that cup. I think I'm gonna start crying like a baby. If you'll excuse me

No excuses for Zidane, he's not Rooney to lose his temper like that, not in the world cup final, the biggest even in sports, with about 1.5 billion people watching worldwide. If they won this game, Zidane would be mentioned right up there with Platini, Pele and Maradona, but to make a bonehead move like that in the final, in overtime, his final career match, it's gotta affect his legacy, and reflect badly. The way France were playing in overtime, it's very possible they would have scored on Italy the last few minutes, similar to what Italy did against Germany. ZIdane took that chance away from them when he decided to use his head on a player instead of the ball.
-
Alright, Italy stinks!, they played like sissies, but they won anyway. What was Zidane thinking? Both goalkeepers made no saves, a shame for France to lose that way, but they only have themselves to blame. They definately beat themselves. Italy has been lucky all touranment. Grrrrrr!!!! Zidane what in god's name are you doing in overtime?

I was just angry they lost their goalkeeper, angry for the non-call on a foul that should have resulted in a penalty kick for Argentina, I was angry they lost on penalty shots without their starting goalkeeper, angry they played better than the Germans, but were eliminated anyway. I was also angry about the coaches moves leaving Messi on the bench. Emotions were high, I was surrounded by Argentinian fans who were sreaming there was cheating by the referee, and I got caught up in the heat ofr the moment. But, looking back on the match it wasn't the referee's fault they lost, not even the Germans. As you said they decided to go into a defensive mode against a very dangerous and physical team, that loves to score the last 10 mins of a game.

Well, just returned from Germany, I watched the Argentina match in Berlin, and was extremely disappointed and angry, I felt like jumping on the field afterwards, and joining the skirmish that went on between the players and coaches after the game. The problem was, I was sitting in the 38th row. Anyways my heart is with Argentina, and from the teams that are left, I'm supporting Portugal, they have the best coach, best goalkeeper, and a great playmaker in Deco.

Well from tomorrow the real world cup begins when the elimination round starts. Here's my predictions: Round 16 winners - Germany, Argentina, Italy, Switzerland, England, Netherlands, Brazil, Spain. QuarterFinals winners - Argentina, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil. SemiFinals winners - Argentina, Brazil Finals winner - I don't know, but I'll go with Argentina, thats my team. I'de like to hear your predictions?
-
I hope so too, but I doubt it. Most of the teams that were suppose to qualify have qualified, so everyone is relaxed right now; this friendly atmosphere will change once the elimination round begins. There's a big match tomorrow Argentina vs Netherlands. If Argentina loses that game, they will meet England in the quarterfinals, assuming they both win their round 16 matches. If Argentina wins tomorrow, then the only scenario they will meet England would be in the finals, and I doubt that will happen. Anyways, if they do meet in the quarterfinals, they won't be partying together, but killing eachother.

England are lucky they pulled out without loss, they avoided Germany. They should have no problem with Ecuador.
-
Ivory Coast is the best African team, but unfortunately for them, they are in the toughest and deepest group of the tournament Group C. There first two matches were with Argentina and Netherlands, both are heavyweights. I would say Group E is the second toughest, but the heavyweights in this group have not done their job. Thats why t's turned out to be the most exciting. After two matches for all four teams, it's still not clear who will qualify, it's all up for grabs.

I agree that it should have been a yellow card. I think this refree having just issued a red card to the Italian player, and rightfully so, he probably thought to be fair, the Americans should get the same treatment, except that the foul did not warrant a red card. So, by trying to be fair, he actually made the wrong call and took the U.S. out of the game. I'm convinced the U.S. would have won the match, they were playing in attack mode and the Italians were very careless. The majority of the bad calls went against the U.S., the Italians benefited greatly from this and are very luck the refree bailed them out. It's a shame, but from what I understand this refree was suspended before for irregularities. He did get the goalie obstruction call right though, other than that he dictated the game.

England is playing excellent defense though, and I really think they will raise their game as the competition gets stronger. They do face a challenge in Germany though. There's a very good chance they will meet them in the next round. Depending on how these two matches turn out Germany vs Ecuador and England vs Sweden. According to the schedule for Group A and B in Round 16: 1A vs 2B and 1B vs 2A. None of the great teams have had good competition so far, we haven't seen them tested yet against quality teams. There are three key matches coming up soon to watch out for, Germany vs Ecuador, England vs Sweden, Argentina vs Netherlands. After they play, we should get a good idea who's on top of their game.

My team Argentina just destroyed Serbia & Montenegro 6-0, not much of a team, but the Dutch could only beat them 1-0. Great debut by Messi with his first goal of the tournament. Guys, there is also a possibility that England & Argentina will meet in the Quarterfinals. If it happens that will be a crazy match.

Great win for Germany my second favorite team. The match was great, Germany relentlessly attacked Poland, with one close miss after the other. The lone goal was scored in stoppage time, right after two huge misses by Germany, it looked like they blew their last chance and would finish with a tie; and just seconds later, Germany scores a great goal. Best game of the tournament I've seen so far.

FIFA is inaccurate, but still a good guide to the teams. I'm sure we can all agree Brazil, Czech Republic, England, France, Holland, Argentina all deserve to be in the top ten. But, I think Germany's ranking is totally inaccurate and a few other teams need to be ranked higher.
-
Fifa ranks the Czechs #2, Italy #13 and the U.S. #5. I think this is the highest ranking for the U.S. coming into a world cup, and a lot was expected out of them. I don't think the loss was the surprise, but rather the score 3-0, and a poor performance by big time players like Donovan and Beasley. Now, they must beat Italy and Ghana, and even that doesn't guarantee them to advance. The 3-0 loss will hurt them because of the point system. Brazil will play it's first game tomorrow, ofcourse they are ranked #1, but I'm praying and hoping for a miracle, that Croatia will beat them and spoil their debut.

Quick update. Ghana came out sloppy in the first half and Italy took advantage scoring a goal. The second half, Ghana played much better in terms of possession, but they didn't know how to finish it off, they gave up another sloppy goal to Italy. 2-0 in favor of Italy. I think it's fair to say that Italy and the Czech Republic will advance from Group E.
-
U.S. had a bad loss, I doubt they will advance now. The only scenario now is they have to beat Italy in the next game which is the best team in the group, and they have to beat Ghana convincingly.
-
Congrats to Argentina, a 2-1 victory. They looked pretty good. Crespo and Saviola with the two goals.
-
Alright, Argentina vs Ivory Coast has begun, if Argentina wins I will celebrate tonight and get drunk, if they lose, I will severely get drunk.
-
I think Cato is tired of it too. He doesn't come on as much as he use to.

Man, I like that strategy, Greek girls are hot too. Viggen, you always come up with the best ideas; I guess thats why you're the undisputed Emperor. Now, I 'm really motivated to learn greek, I'll just go find a nice Greek girl, but I'm not so sure if I will be learning greek with her, maybe a few other lessons... I also wanna learn Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese and much much more... I already learnt English, Italian and Vietnamese It's all good.
