Im not sure LW -if you go into amazon and look at the Osprey books he is a major contributor: the "Gladiator " book is very good-some personal favourites of mine are "Warriors and Warlords" ( a sampler across many periods-Pict to Zulu, Arthurian Briton to Bucaneer) "New Kingdom Egypt" some excellent renderings of the Nakhtu Ah (close combat troopers , the "strong arm boys " as they called themselves) and "The Normans" . showing Norman , Gael , Saxon and Siculo-Norman."Roman Legionary 58 BC -69 AD" is one of the very best. DecimusCaesar 1 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Share I'm a big fan of Angus McBride's paintings as well. His 'Warriors and Warlords' book is well worth getting. I marvel at how he manages to produce so many detailed, well made paintings. Quote Link to comment
