Ask your folks and try it with them. If they can appreciate fine drink, then there's no better way to start out.

 

I think I'll be making some wassail this winter!

My mom used to give me wine until she stopped buying it, because it was too expensive (and also she seemed to think she had a drinking problem, which I really didn't see, but eh...)
