I still challenge my friends to a two man asteroids fight now and then when I'm drunk.

That was the one where you flew around on an ostrich like bird landing on platforms, collecting eggs and fighting other "ostrich" riders...

 

I'm surprised to hear you knew Space Invaders as a kid, Kinglan. This is such an old game! I for one, was addicted to Atari when I was a kid: Pacman, River Raid, Enduro, Pitfall... Completely lost interest once Nintendo came round.

Most of all those gave were still around when I was a kid. My favorite was something called Super Frog. (Amiga)

 

Anybody remember a game called Chucky Egg??

 

I used to play it on my Commodore 64 when I was a kid, it was a a kind of platform game along the lines of Donkey Kong that was just so addictive.
