It just seems so wrong that people who are expected to risk their lives in defense of ours should be compensated so shabbily.

 

Do your soldiers over there receive any additional benefits at all, such as money for college tuition? Everyone's already got the same health benefits there in the U.K., right?

I happen by chance on Xbox live to meet a Brit was in the military for more than a decade. He said he got jack#### when he discharged. His wife in the U.S. navy meanwhile got a pension, a better dental plan, et alia than he ever did.
