I can never force my self to post the pictures in reverse order.
So If you want to follow the progression of the day you must start on page three and work your way forward. Hope you all enjoy the pictures.
Miserus Sextus, so seemingly lonesome.
I've grown more and more apart from some people that I used to have daily conversations with. The girl that I dispise and hate but was still friends with, I now rarely talk to. Another person who I used to have conversations with is a Half-gothic Wiccan, who now hates me. My old friends seem to remain though, which is lovely for me. Aparently I'm the type of person that people love to follow around, which is to my advantage.
Otherwise though, I'm re
Oh its that damn time of the year again when you've just found out, crap, I just wasted a year of life and don't really want to go further in age(Imma also feel horrible with all these tests too). So it as with me tomorrow, I wish I was fifteen again. But then again, it's not so bad since turning 16, that can only mean a drivers license. Only thing I can wish is for an Xbox 360, a girlfriend, grow 6 inches taller(I'm only 5'8), and do really well in the upcoming lacrosse season.

the song is entitled
Spring Time for Hitler
Germany was having trouble, what a sad, sad story
Needed a new leader to restore its former glory
Where, Oh where was he? Where could that man be?
We looked around and then we found
The man for you and me.
And now it's..
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Deutschland is happy and gay
We're marching to a faster pace
Look out, here comes the master race
Springtime for Hitler and German
The visit to the extremity of the Western Defences was hampered by poor weather. Ice, fog and bad light! Not so good for any of the locations I wanted to post in the Gallery, Medibogdum is a non-starter in icey conditions as the road is not much better than a cart track -and also happens to be the highest driveable pass in Britain. That will have to wait for another visit.I was able to get some shots of the bath ruins at Glannaventa (home of the Batavian "marine/amphibious " auxiliaries) a Flavia
The rough draft is finally done! I've sent it to PP for editing, hopefully it will be published soon (and NO "sneak peaks" you guys ) YAY! I took long enouh with it...I really hope it turns out to be worth the wait. I may write another one sometime soon but lets get this one off the ground first
I've moved my bird and flower art into it's own gallery as I'm sure some of you noticed. (it's easier to show it to people that way...I have a few friends and relatives that love to look at my art
I am submitting a paper on the Maccabee Revolt into my school's undergrad history jounral in hopes of it getting published so I have something really nice to present to a graduate school... I probably won't find out how I fare/ if it is accepted until the middle of Feburary...
Wish me luck...

Hmmm... perhaps some of you can relate and some can't but I am throwing this out there nonetheless.
After so many years at college, I have come to realize that tutition is near robbery, (meaning how they tack on an additional 10,000 just because I am out of state), but what's worse is Follets and textbooks. That SURELY is robbery, you pay $100-200 for a brand new textbook that, when you try to sell back they will either give you, $35 for even if it is in pristine condition or two... they wo
well today i enrolled in Tafe (those who arnt in Australia Tafe is like a community college... im finishing my high school education there). Although tafe is alot better in the areas of Ancient and modern history i have the prospect of having to make a whole new group of friends. its rather daunting but i suppose everyone who is going is in the same boat as me.
other then enrolling i finished typing up an article on Tiberius Constantine who reigned after Justin II
Anyway some people mi
As Viggen strives to piece together my "report" galleries for the Wall and Vindolanda , I hope to visit Mediobogdum a sensationally remote fortlet in the heart of the Lake District. Alavana (and its museum) are also on my shopping list. Not much remains of the turf defence line into the Solway sands , but they were an integral part of the western arm of the Wall defence system with Glannaventa as the supply port.As usual if the weather holds, Mediobogdum in particular is spectacularly situated a
I put some pictures to my album "Moscow" and it's a little comment to this sight.
St. Sergius's monastery developed for the villages and settlements surrounding what is now known as Trinity-St. Sergius Laura. In the 14th century the citizens were painters, wood carvers, and toy makers. The toy factory, as well as the tradition of craftsmen, survives today. Trinity-St. Sergius Laura is one of the most revered Russian monasteries. It is the historic center of the Russian Orthodox religio
The akwardness of spanning from thread to blog to gallery has been solved by Viggen's suggestion of a "report" form for the Wall visit-he himself has an excellent report on a visit to Aguntum in the Roman Culture Section .
Sub divided galleries can be used so that areas of interest can be approached more easily than a horizontal trawl through the gallery area. So I aim to produce a "central" hadrians wall gallery and add individual sites as and when the opportunity arises . I envisage a separat

The spread of evil is the symptom of a vacuum. whenever evil wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles.

Well, this time comes around every year now. You see, a couple of years ago, I made $300 watching dogs while people were away. Due to some very careful and disciplined spending, as well as only using the money people give me to by things now, I've only lost a portion of the original 300 dollar sum, which is now brough down to 250 dollars aproximatly.
Of course, every now and then (about every 6 to 12 months) I get a great desire to spend my money on something novelty. Unfortuntly, money do
The digging work at Vindolanda is an ongoing process. It must be remembered that the fort area has building remains from the Flavian period onwards, with continuous evidence of construction and rebuilding through a very active Severan usage onto the time of Constantine and beyond. So Flavius Cerealis' burning of the Vindolanda tablets is a very early episode in pre-Hadrianic years (97-105 AD). Five wooden forts and two stone ones occupied the site (in various positions ) until a wholesale rebuild

Read the article and you'll find it interesting. Turns out, Iraq is eventually gonna turn stable and the insurgency will die out later. Apparently, the Ramadi insurgents now has decided to form an alliance and fight an all out war against Al Quaeda who have been responsible for killing many Revolutionaries who now see that politics is the only way to get what they want in Iraq since the election results show strong Sunni gains. Apparently Al Quaeda

Salvete Omnes!
I have returned from Vindolanda and Vercovicium with a massive portfolio of photographs. Dea Fortuna favoured the lone scout from UNRV moving quietly through the early morning mists to steal the images of the special places.I will spend some time editing and paring down , many of the shots I will load onto my own home site ( though its link is still defective) particularly the detailed "object" museum shots . For now I will post a couple of images in the miscellenia gallery .
Well the moment of truth is at hand. I'm meeting the Cultural Survey Consultant and the Chesterfield County Archaeologist at the site next Tuesday the 31st.
But the consultant's professional pride seems to be on shaky ground, he & his client are a little prickly:
Sean, we are arranging for a meeting up at the site on 31 January 2006, which is next Tuesday. Can you make it then? Would you be able to bring the artifacts along? Also, our client asks how you came to know that developm
Now that we have our first subforum, i would like to know what other topics could we make into a subfora? Keep in mind that it should be related to the parent forum and of course the main forum should be busy enough to support a split into a more specific niche...
cheers

Yes yes yes, I need to vent. I'm completely upset today for no particular reason about the Terrorists! Stupid stupid stupid terrorists. I agree that western culture (american in particular) is far too sexual, and that something needs to change that, but I doubt they or we are going to get any where by being gun-slinging nut jobs on a stick....
Though my least favorite part, is knowing that its OUR country's fault for letting Iran become a nuclear power...
Please, in responses, don't give
